Focusing on tourism development while preserving its historical value
Hamang Province is located approximately 65 km south of the center of Hanoi. The provincial capital is Phu Ly City. In recent years, it has focused on tourism development with a focus on historical religious sites surrounded by nature, making it popular as a destination for "spiritual tourism," a trend in Vietnam.

When it was established in 1900, the province of Ha Nam consisted of five groups: Kim Bang, Duy Tien, Nam Xang, Thanh Liem and the provincial capital city of Phu Ly. In 1965, the province of Ha Nam and Nam Dinh province merged to form Nam Ha province. In 1971, Nam Ha province merged with Ninh Binh province to become Ha Nam Ninh province. In 1991, Ha Nam Ninh province was split into Ha Nam Ninh and Ninh Binh provinces. The province has been repeatedly reorganized since then, and in 1997 it resumed its former name of Ha Nam Province and is now at its present stage.
The terrain of Khamon is full of changes; it is surrounded by rivers on all sides. The Day River, which flows through Khamon Province, is divided into two regions: the western part of the sedimentary plateau with its deposits, and the eastern part of the low plains.
