There are plenty of cakes that boast elegance in both appearance and taste.

When owner Lee (Ly) visited London on a study abroad trip, he became interested in the British food culture of enjoying sweets and tea. In 2018, he opened the first store of "Artemis Pastry" on Goekeng Street in Hanoi. As of December 2023, they currently have four stores in Hoan Kiem District, Bardiin District, Kaousai District, and Thinh An District. The cakes are manufactured daily at the 400-square-meter Van Cao Street store, and are delivered to each store. The name "Artemis" is inspired by the Greek myth that the goddess Artemis, believed to be the origin of birthday cakes, had the people make round cakes in honor of herself.

With health at the forefront, each product is made using only carefully selected ingredients that meet international standards and featuring the typical fruits of Vietnam. Now that a healthy lifestyle is becoming more important, we are dedicated to creating flavors that are not too sweet and refreshing to suit the preferences of many people. We also aim to create works of art that treat each cake as a work of art, with both the appearance and taste being enjoyable. We offer both small and full sizes, and you can enjoy them with your drink in-store. When ordering for delivery, we carefully pack each cake with ice packs to ensure it arrives safely.

Ms. Lee, born in 1990, has two years of experience living in the UK, which led to her opening Artemis.

Each store has a different atmosphere, and it’s a fun experience to visit each one.

Passion Mango Cheese

Cute appearance with a Vietnamese flavor
This dish is filled with the flavors of pink guava and lychee, which are representative fruits of Vietnam. The sliced crispy guava flesh stands out beautifully, and the fragrant lychee mousse and fluffy, soft vanilla sponge cake pair perfectly together. It has a refreshing acidity with a gentle sweetness, and the taste is as described—delightful and refreshing.

Top the cheese with a tropical flavor
The rich cheesecake is layered with a smooth fruit cream, mango jelly, and passion fruit jelly, creating a fresh flavor of tropical fruits. I really liked the slight acidity of the passion fruit and the perfect balance of sweetness from the high-quality Cat Chu mango from Vietnam.

Creamy Chocolate

The fruit that is piled high looks gorgeous
The cream in mango flavor and the sponge in pandan leaf flavor overlap vertically, creating a moist and fluffy sponge with a distinctive sweet aroma that melts in the mouth. The mango and pineapple are combined with passion fruit sauce, adding a Vietnamese twist to the classic style of sponge cake and whipped cream.

Richness that even chocolate lovers will be satisfied with
When you’re at a loss for what to make, chocolate cake is the most traditional choice. The chocolate cake at this shop is unique in that it is made with a chocolate sponge cake layered with a thick, smooth chocolate mousse, and the outside is also coated with dark chocolate. The rich, delicious taste of the chocolate is clearly evident, and after you eat it, you’ll have a bittersweet aftertaste.
