Bhaya Cruises, which organizes cruises in Halong Bay, held "Clean Up Halong Breeze The Soul" on June 10, 2025, in conjunction with tours in the bay. On the day of the event, they departed from Hanoi early in the morning and arrived in Tuanchau Port after about two and a half hours. From the port, they boarded the large ship The Au Co Cruise and began the boat trip to clean up Halong Bay.
The opening ceremony was held on board the ship, and the importance of protecting the natural environment of Ha Long Bay was also explained. Then, the schedule for the day, waste separation, and how to record it were explained in a way that was easy for even first-time participants to understand.
Lunch was served in the on-board restaurant, where we enjoyed a buffet while taking in the view of Halong Bay. In the afternoon, we switched from the J'au Coeur cruise to a small boat and headed to the designated beach. The cleanup took about two hours, and plastic waste, styrofoam, and empty cans were collected one after another, filling the boat's cargo hold quickly. Participants expressed surprise at the sight of so much trash being thrown onto the coast.
After cleaning the ship, we returned to the dock and enjoyed free drinks on the deck in the evening while watching the beautiful sunset over Halong Bay. With the music playing, the participants spent a pleasant time, and at the closing ceremony, the achievements of each group were announced, leaving us full of satisfaction.
