KOTO (Know One, Teach One)/CoTo, a non-profit organization dedicated to creating a positive cycle in society, opened its new vocational training school, Dream School, on Friday, November 7, 2025. Unlike typical vocational training schools, Dream School offers a homestay-style hospitality education program for disadvantaged youth. Established by renovating the training center KOTO has operated in Bac Ninh Province, the school will work in collaboration with restaurant KOTO Van Mieu in the center of Hanoi city to combine systematic learning in the classroom with practical experience on the job site.
On the day of the opening ceremony, supporters, partner companies, and education professionals gathered to present the KOTO staff’s presentations and training content. The trainees expressed their thoughts on learning and future goals in their own words. During the ceremony, they served the canapés and drinks prepared by the trainees, explaining them in English, and also performed a stage performance. This was a venue where one could feel the atmosphere of practical education that KOTO values.
At KOTO Van Mieu, not only can regular visitors enjoy the cuisine, but catering services, cooking classes, and goods sales by social enterprises are also offered. Moreover, the “ST(ST) 25 by KOTO” restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City is run by graduates and has received high international acclaim, being selected as a Michelin-starred restaurant and one of the top 100 restaurants in Tatler Asia, a media for the wealthy.
