Strengths of KOBAYASHI VIET NAM
1. Japanese engineers stationed in Japan
We have engineers stationed in Japan with more than 20 years of experience working in Japan. Therefore, we would like to contribute to the economic development of Vietnam in the future by demonstrating the high quality of Japanese work onsite and passing on our skills.
2. Solid technical skills and knowledge
The work is performed mainly by skilled Japanese expatriates and other technicians who have worked as technical interns in Japan for 3 to 5 years. Therefore, the work is performed by technicians with high technical skills, knowledge, and awareness of safety, using Japanese quality.
3. Full staff training
Experienced Japanese engineers are stationed in Japan to provide education and guidance on Japanese technology and safety to Vietnamese engineers.
Reason for Establishment
Mr. Kentaro Kobayashi established Kobayashi Gumi Co., Ltd. in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture, in 2008, and had a wide range of experience in new construction and renovation projects mainly in Kanagawa and Tokyo prefectures.
Later, impressed by the purpose of the technical internship program (to learn practical techniques, skills, and knowledge, and to develop human resources who can take responsibility for the economic development of their home countries after returning to their home countries), we began accepting Vietnamese technical intern trainees in 2016.
However, about half of the technical intern trainees do not return to their home countries to work at the same job, and are unable to make use of what they have learned in Japan.
One of the reasons for this was that they wanted to do the same work in their home countries, but were unable to do so because of safety issues.
Hearing this, Mr. Kobayashi decided to establish a company to undertake steeplejack work in Vietnam and accept technical intern trainees, hoping that they would be able to fully utilize the skills and knowledge they had acquired in Japan for economic development in their home country.
Then, in January 2020, we established our company and continue to accumulate achievements by working as a company that ensures the safety and quality of Japan and as a host for technical intern trainees.
