This issue introduces a tasting report featuring an in-depth review of the Mexican restaurant "Gabriela," where the staff of the magazine's editorial team visited and interviewed the popular restaurants and shops on the food delivery app "Capichi." This issue focuses on thoroughly dissecting the restaurant.
Light and spicy Mexican cuisine that captivates with its balanced flavors that develop as you continue to eat.

Rob, the owner (pictured center), cherishes his passion for each dish and shares his thoughts with the staff.
Rob Ruiz has lived in various parts of Vietnam for several years, including for three years in Hoi An, and has been engaging with the local lifestyle and culinary culture. In this context, he moved his base of operations to Hanoi and opened the restaurant in the West Lake area.
The interior is a space that cherishes warmth and subtlety while also exuding a distinct sense of individuality in every detail. We aim to make it a place where even a single person can feel at ease and enjoy their meals and time spent there as an extension of their daily routine. The comfort of being able to move around without feeling pressured is a unique charm of this store.
The name of the restaurant comes from a Mexican friend from Puebla. She taught Rob how to cook and also helped him convey the local food culture and the importance of being honest. The restaurant is also known for introducing the handmade Mexican sandwich "tortas" to Vietnam first.
The menu features a variety of traditional flavors combined with everyday favorites. In addition to tacos and popular crispy-grilled burritos, there are also Mexican cocktails such as margaritas made with cucumber and jalapeño, as well as imported beers. While maintaining a commitment to uncompromising detail, the restaurant is steadily building a presence as a hub for Mexican cuisine.

The outer part is crispy and tender, and the grilled vegetables follow behind.
The shishou is pre-seasoned with seeds and has a crispy outer layer. The inside is soft and retains its moisture. The seasoning is limited to a single teaspoon of sea salt, adding the richness of melted cheese and the slight acidity of purple onion pickles. To finish, fresh lime is squeezed in, and sour cream, tomato salsa, and fried onions add texture.

Luxurious tacos that highlight the shrimp's deliciousness
Lightly seasoned shrimp are baked to perfection, keeping them juicy while served on tender tortillas. A rich black bean sauce supports the flavors, while the sweet and tangy Chard tomato salsa balances the overall balance. Smooth avocado is complemented by the crunch of fried shallots and the pleasant accent of cilantro.

Rich burrito made with 5 hours of simmering broth
Wrapped in tender tortillas and stuffed with homemade Mexican rice and beans, the star of the dish is the beef short ribs cooked for five hours with ají chilis. The delicate meat texture is complemented by the spiciness of the spices, while the richness of the cheese and avocado cream, the acidity of the red onion pickles, and the sourness of the chard tomato salsa leave a light finish.

Juicy chicken sandwich with a lingering aroma
The soft bread that matches the ingredients is carefully toasted to create a crust that perfectly holds the chicken. The smoky aroma that rises just slightly and the juicy meat that spreads as you bite into it are impressive. The richness of the black bean sauce forms the foundation of the flavor, and the acidity of the lettuce and tomato salsa and the softness of the avocado cream combine to create a satisfying finish.
