I had been interested in the art makeup I received at a local salon in Hanoi two years ago, so this time I experienced the process from removing the makeup to creating a new design. I will introduce you to the process of the treatment aimed at achieving a natural finish.
The moment the door opened, I couldn’t help but exclaim, “Beautiful…” The interior, with its white tones, is clean down to the last detail and has a bright, calming atmosphere. Putting on slippers and sitting in the waiting area immediately relaxed my nerves. Even for first-time visitors to a beauty clinic, I felt that it was a space where you could spend time with peace of mind.
1 : First, start with counseling.
Actually, I had a long-standing eyebrow problem.
The art makeup I received at a local salon in Hanoi two years ago was in the line type, where each line was drawn with sharp angles; the temples of my eyebrows were sharply raised, and the tail of my eyebrows was also designed to be longer. Due to the influence of the era when fine eyebrows were popular, my own eyebrows were almost nonexistent.
I was perfecting my makeup every day, but every time I looked in the mirror I felt a sense of incongruity. During the consultation, while reviewing my current condition, I was asked to provide suggestions for a design that would suit my face shape and balance.
2 : Art-makeup removal laser
The counseling takes place in a private, fully-equipped room. The person who provided the service was a dermatologist and the owner, Chan. First, they used a skin analyzer to check the current condition of the skin. The specialized skin imaging machine then visualizes the data, revealing the skin’s conditions that are usually invisible to the naked eye.
Even my cheek wrinkles that I had been noticing were clearly displayed on the diagnostic screen, allowing me to objectively check my own skin condition. That was the moment when "just feeling concerned" turned into "wanting to improve this area."
3 : New eyebrow design & treatment
What I asked for this time was natural-looking parallel eyebrows. Instead of prioritizing just the trend, I will adjust the design while considering the balance of the entire face.
We used a translation app to communicate, but because they were able to understand my desired image in detail, I was able to consult without any worries.
The art makeup procedure is completed in one session. Instead of the traditional line drawing method, it uses a technique where dots are layered to create color, resulting in a soft, natural finish.
The ideal eyebrows that change every morning
The first thing I noticed upon seeing the finished product was that the sense of incongruity had disappeared. Previously, only the eyebrows seemed to stand out strongly, but this time they blend in naturally over the entire face.
Having had laser removal twice meant that the previous shape was firmly reset, and in addition, achieving the ideal eyebrows with just one treatment gave me peace of mind.
My makeup routine has become much easier every morning, and I feel more confident about going out even when I’m not wearing any makeup. This was a learning experience that I wish I had consulted with a professional sooner, especially since my eyebrows have been a long-standing problem.
