Uncovering the depths of Vietnamese coffee through its brewing methodAnne’s Maison Egg Coffee Workshop

A moment to savor your own homemade egg coffee

Vietnam is known as one of the world’s leading coffee producers, and especially Robusta beans with their rich, intense flavor and aroma are widely produced. The style of slow brewing using the traditional extraction tool “Phin” is a unique coffee culture in Vietnam.
Among them, the "egg coffee" is known as the representative drink of Hanoi. It was created in the 1940s and combines sweet, rich cream made with egg yolks with rich coffee for a drink that offers a combination of sweetness, richness, and the flavor of coffee.
Anne’s Maison hosts workshops where you can experience the coffee culture of Vietnam. Participants can learn about the history and culture of Vietnamese coffee while experiencing making coffee using the “fin” method. By making your own egg cream and finishing the process yourself, you can create your own unique egg coffee. This is an enjoyable activity for beginners and can be easily enjoyed in between sightseeing trips.
Workshops are held on a regular basis, and to participate, please contact us at least 30 minutes to one hour in advance. On weekends, our Japanese-speaking staff will support you and provide explanations in Japanese, allowing you to enjoy a memorable and special experience while learning about Vietnamese coffee culture.
