A new cutting-edge medical center will be established in Vietnam. On May 19, 2026, FPT Group, a leading IT company in the country, signed a license agreement with the largest medical group in Japan, the Tokushukai Group. This officially designates the new hospital scheduled to be built in Vietnam as “Long Chau Tokushukai Hospital.” On the same day, the signing ceremony was held in the presence of representatives from both groups, and the agreement was formally signed.
Under the terms of this agreement, the FPT Group will acquire the rights to use the Tokushukai name and logo, and will fully accelerate the construction and operation of an advanced comprehensive hospital on the ground. The company plans to leverage its strong technology capabilities and networks cultivated in the IT, digital, and education fields to establish an advanced healthcare environment at a level comparable to that of developed countries.
In addition to boasting world-class advanced medical technology, Tokudai Hospital has a long track record of dedication to humanitarian activities such as remote island medical care and the training of human resources overseas, based on the strong philosophy of its founder, the late Dr. Takeda Torao, who believed that "life is equal for all."
This partnership is the first step in collaboration between the two parties. In the future, the parties plan to explore various aspects of their cooperation, including concrete support for the hospital’s construction process, after-opening medical services, technical cooperation, and the training of specialized personnel.
