One of the problems for people living abroad is how to deal with business travelers from Japan, and it is a real headache. Especially when it comes to attending dinner at night.......for first time visitors from Japan, but for those who have already been to Vietnam several times, you can't take them to the same restaurant several times, but you also can't take them to a restaurant where they don't know what they are looking for...........................
In addition, the choice of Vietnamese food is a very difficult salve. Vietnamese food in high-end hotels is expensive and arranged much more for tourists. On the other hand, if you go to a restaurant with a local bias, it is difficult to consider the health aspect for business travelers.
So the restaurant I often go to now is Tam Vi restaurant. What I like about it is that the food is delicious. The food is mainly from the northern part of Vietnam, but it is not too touristy, and you can enjoy real Vietnamese country food here. The prices are also very reasonable. The restaurant is also located near the Temple of Literature (Confucius Temple), where the Kuyu Wen Pavilion, which has become a symbol of Hanoi, is also located.
From the exterior to the interior, the house is designed in the style of a traditional northern home, much like an old Japanese house, making it a very tasteful and stylish space that can be enjoyed by families and dates alike. It is not clear if it is an old wood finish or actual old wood, but the wood finish and traditional lighting and decorations create a relaxing atmosphere. We hope you will have the opportunity to experience this space with great food. It is also available for company parties and we have used it as well. Please note that we only serve beer.
