Tho Xuong Street, close to the Grand Church of Hanoi. In the quiet alley behind it, there is a small concept store that opened in 2017. Young artists from all over Vietnam and local brands are active here.
It is where the passion of Rand gathers.
The items on display in the store include postcards and stickers, warm handmade pottery and wooden tableware, and modern cloth accessories incorporating traditional embroidery patterns from the mountainous regions and indigo dyed fabrics. Each piece is carefully crafted using traditional Vietnamese materials while incorporating a modern sensibility. What we value is “storyful, handmade work by Vietnamese hands.” This reflects the aspirations of artists who love their home country and strive to pass on that culture to future generations.

Nom
NOM
This is a souvenir shop themed “Traveling Through the Treasures of Traditional Culture,” which expresses the stories that live in various parts of Vietnam through modern design. We do not preserve traditional culture as a thing of the past; instead, we propose it as a “living culture” that can be integrated into daily life.
The three collections currently on display are "Ancient City Plays" inspired by the concept of traditional performing arts, "Hang Trong Paintings" that reinterpret folk paintings in a contemporary way, and "Stages" that combine traditional stage performances with contemporary street scenes. All of them vividly reflect the spirituality of Vietnam.
The lineup includes a wide range of products such as T-shirts, eco-bags, headbands, keychains, and postcards, with prices ranging from about VND 20,000 to VND 50,000. Designs that evoke pride in tradition and a curiosity about the past inspire young people and travelers to feel the current spirit of Vietnam.

Me Choi
This creative brand aims to connect people with one another and with their culture through “time spent immersed in play.” In the daily lives surrounded by smartphones and digital devices, we value the time to deliberately move our hands and make eye contact to enjoy the moment.
Drawing inspiration from Vietnamese folk paintings and traditional materials, the brand offers a wide range of products, including coloring books, wooden puzzles, and miscellaneous goods and fashion accessories. While incorporating techniques from artisans such as paper mache and woodblock printing, the designs, reconstructed with a youthful sensibility, make culture more accessible.
Furthermore, the structure that allows children to naturally engage with the story and background while playing is also a unique feature of this brand.
Since launching at the end of 2024, we have also been focusing on creating workshops in schools and communities and creating places where people can experience them in person. Through our collaboration with the Traditional Craft Village, we continue to create sustainable manufacturing. The moment you take it in your hand, a time that will remain etched in your memory begins to quietly unfold.

Outstanda Handmade Crafts
Outstanda Handcraft
The interior, a minimalist and warm space, is filled with handmade crafts collected from all over Vietnam, arranged like a gallery. What the store cherishes is not just traditional crafts as souvenirs, but the culture and stories behind them. It is a style called a “cultural boutique,” where the cultural value of each piece is conveyed, including the creator’s thoughts and the atmosphere of the land. In a calm atmosphere, you can experience the cultural value of each piece and the artisans’ thoughts.
This space began with small booths at a craft market. As the activity continued, it became clear that many artisans, despite possessing excellent skills, lacked a stable venue for exhibiting and selling their work, as well as opportunities to interact with visitors from overseas. Recognizing these challenges, it has now evolved into a permanent space where artisans can confidently present their work.

In a calm space where antique furniture is casually placed, you can spend relaxing time while experiencing Vietnamese craftsmanship. It is also noteworthy that here, while valuing dialogue with the artisans, proposals are made tailored to each individual’s preferences and thoughts. The warm hospitality of sharing time over tea and conversation conveys a Vietnamese spirit that emphasizes connections with others.
The store’s journey began with the desire to convey cultural value through handcraft. Working in collaboration with local artisans, it also serves as a support for traditional crafts and artisans from various regions, focusing on creating products using natural materials. What makes this store unique is that the works carefully incorporate Vietnamese traditional culture and lifestyle, while respecting the techniques and aesthetic sensibilities passed down from the past, they are delivered in a way that can be naturally integrated into modern life. Among these, the basket bag that gently complements everyday outfits is becoming popular as an item that offers a sense of the warmth of handcraft.

In the heart of Saigon, the bustling city, there is a craft shop that creates a gentle flow of time. Here, pottery pieces are created by carefully shaping clay with their hands and adding color with emotion. All of the pieces feature playful and adorable designs that embody the concept of “fun” and “sweetness.” In particular, the face motif with its plump cheeks and expressive eyes is a symbol of the brand, naturally captivating the viewer’s heart.
The brand’s beginnings date back to the pandemic in 2020. The clay-making process, which came about by chance during the time spent at home, gradually evolved into a passion for making things. Initially, I continued to create in parallel with my work as an interior designer, but later I learned the techniques at Lai Thieu’s pottery studio and began to pursue ceramics on a more serious level. Today, I offer a wide range of products, from everyday-use items like cups, bowls, and objects to decorative pieces for gifts. Every year, I release a new collection for the Christmas season, and I also offer flexible customization services to cater to the needs of my customers. I strive to deliver warm, handcrafted products that are suitable for everyday use, while also being mindful of the environment.
