How to become more comfortable speaking rather than just memorizing grammar - From thinking in English to feeling it in English -

If you only focus on "correct grammar," why can't you speak at all?？

One of the most common reasons given for Japanese people not speaking English is:Overly concerned with grammarThat is the point."
In English education during my student years, the goal was to “guide the right answer,” and any errors in grammar were subject to a reduction in marks. However,In the field of communication, the goal is not the reduction of marks but “communicating”.That is.

For example, even in a grammatically incorrect sentence like “I went shopping yesterday.” (The correct form is “I went shopping yesterday.”) the intention is conveyed that “I went shopping yesterday.”Rather than being grammatically correct, it is about establishing communication with the other person. That is far more important.

""

English begins with the “courage to be wrong”

People who become able to speak English have certainly gone through “mistake experiences.” Rather than seeking perfection,It is the act of "treading slowly and trying to say something" that is the greatest engine of growth. That’s right. You can still get back on track with grammar later on. But “Habit of speaking”Without it, you won’t be able to talk to each other forever.
First, start by saying one phrase a day.One word today leads to a whole lot of nonsense six months from now.。
